US Cable TV Programs to Feature Company's Green Journey

A video about Pfizer's Green Journey — the company's initiative to integrate environmental sustainability into its business operations — will be featured on U.S. cable television channels.

The video highlights some of the ways Pfizer is reducing its carbon footprint globally, including the use of renewable energy and manufacturing and packaging processes that use fewer resources at the Pfizer Global Supply site in Freiburg, Germany; and green chemistry initiatives, including efforts to eliminate hazardous reagents and use renewable feedstocks at the company's research and development site in La Jolla, Calif.

The video is scheduled to be broadcast at the following times:

"We recognize that how we do our work matters just as much as what we deliver," said Kirsten Lund-Jurgensen, Vice President, Primary Care/Oncology Operating Unit and Chair of Pfizer's Environmental Sustainability Council, in the video. "By taking a strong interest in environmental sustainability, our world is changing for the better, and we want to be part of that change."
